Who we are

In 2020 the long standing 92nd Bomb Group Memorial Association disbanded after decades of service honoring the brave heroes who flew and fought in the name of freedom from Bovingdon, Alconbury and Podington, United Kingdom.

During the fall of 2024 a group of dedicated volunteers consisting of veteran's family members in the US and local historians in the UK pulled together to relight the flame to ensure that the 92nd and the legacy of Fame’s Favored Few is never left behind. We have a huge digital archive which we use to assist families of veterans visiting their old bases in the UK, we represent the group at Madingley American Cemetery at the annual Memorial Day commemorations and we work hard each day to tell the stories of the heroes and keep the memory alive.
